PROBLEM

When Wingnut Social was approached by Plush Couture Interiors, the design firm was relocating from Los Angeles to Portland, Oregon.

The business needed help establishing a presence in Portland and crafting a brand voice on social media to attract clients.

SOLUTION

Wingnut Social created an Instagram strategy that focused on branding through consistency in voice, messaging and visuals which we then implemented for the client.

We also wanted to ensure that the owner was seen as not only a luxury designer but as a lifestyle influencer.

We have consistently supported this positioning by interspersing this feed with luxury-focused original and inspirational content, as well as including fashion-forward brand images of the owner.

In addition to carefully curating their images, we write in a way that speaks to their approachable and youthful brand, their expertise in design and their home staging experience. We have also done extensive hashtag research using analytics, customizing the hashtags on each post to help Plush Couture reach non-followers.

RESULT

Since we started working on Plush Couture, their account has grown exponentially. They have seen an increase of over 12,000% in impressions, over 7,800% increase in engagements and 900% increase in followers over a two month period.

Their closest competitor only had an increase in followers of 15.2% within two months. In addition, some of their posts have gone viral.
